Shawn is from Payson, Utah and grew up in a Rodeo Family, a tradition that Shawn continues to support.
In addition to his Rodeo life, Shawn spent seven years working for Taylor Ranch breaking colts and helping with the day to day tasks of the ranch. He began working for Lazy MD Arabians eight years ago. He brakes colts (one of his favorite things to do) and shows in all disciplines; reining being his favorite show discipline.
Shawn resides in Hennifer, Utah with his wife (an AG teacher) and his son J.W. (age 2).
